Position Description:
The Operations Environmental Health and Safety Manager (OEHSM) is responsible for developing and administering environmental health and safety programs that comply with legislation, regulations and meet company standards for health, safety, and environmental performance. The OEHSM leads/supports project development and implementation using change management processes, manages document updates. The Health and Safety Business Process Lead reports directly to the OEHSM. The OEHSM is responsible for leading and developing The Business Process Lead. The OEHSM will work cross-functionally with learning, internal communications as they deliver on EHS strategy other responsibilities include, Health and Safety reporting systems, forecasting, and monitoring Health and Safety performance.
Collaboration, effective communication, balancing stakeholders, business insights, technical and analytical skills are critical to the success of this position. This role reports directly to the Senior Manager Divisional Health and Safety, and supports the Health and Safety department, and other cross-functional business partners across the Home Depot, including but not limited to learning, store operations, field operations, merchandising, legal, IT, human resources tool rental operations, Home Depot equipment services, installation services and building services.
