Position Overview:         

Under the direction of the Data Quality Supervisor, the Online Product Maintenance Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the online shopping experience by ensuring product information is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with company standards and goals. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the online experience and address data issues as they arise.                                                                                                                      

Key Responsibilities:                                                                                                                                             

Data Troubleshooting Support

Troubleshoot and resolve ongoing operational challenges by reviewing data issues identified on the website to determine the cause and advise cross-functional teams on next steps. The specialist will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data issues and implement quality control measures.

Scrub Workflow Management

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement online data quality processes. This includes creating, updating, and maintaining documentation to standardize data quality practices.

Reporting

Produce regular and timely data quality status reports. This role is also responsible for preparing and presenting reports that highlight data quality improvements and demonstrate the value added to the organization.

Product Maintenance Management

Review, analyze, and validate product data against defined online data standards. This includes ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of product information with data governance principles.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong excel skills

  • A bachelor's degree or a diploma in a related field is required.

                                                                                                        

Minimum Years of Work Experience:                                                                                                              

  • 1-2 years of retail industry experience required.

  • None                                  

Certifications:                                                                                                                                          

  • Alteryx Core Certification is an asset.

                                                                                                                                                     

Other Requirements/Assets:                                                                                                                                             

  • Proficiency in data visualization building (e.g., Tableau, Looker) and the ticketing managing portal (Zendesk) is an asset.
