Askuity is a Toronto-based retail analytics software company operating as a division within The Home Depot (THD).  Through our supplier analytics program, Askuity’s mission is to enable suppliers and merchants at The Home Depot to make profitable, data-driven decisions and drive real-time execution.

The Project Manager, PMO is responsible for driving the successful planning, execution and close-out of cross functional projects, ensuring alignment to our project management standards and strategic priorities. This role combines hands-on project leadership with consultative support for project teams across the organization. This role plays a critical part in improving project delivery consistency, enhancing visibility across initiatives and driving strategic alignment.  

Key Responsibilities:                                                                                          

Program Management & Governance

  • Run project planning meetings, facilitate kick-offs and maintain project roadmaps within project management software and other information systems 
  • Work directly with stakeholders to initiate new projects, ensuring adherence to established project management guidelines 
  • Serve as a consultant and subject matter expert, supporting project leads across the organization in achieving project objectives throughout the entire project lifecycle 
  • Support the documentation of issues and conflict resolutions; escalate and work with leadership as needed 
  • Hold project leads across the organization accountable to established processes  
  • Promote culture of continuous learning by facilitating retrospectives, documenting lessons learned and applying lessons learned to subsequent projects and overall project governance 
  • Support information and knowledge-sharing across the organization  
  • Support the strategy and evolution of the Program Management Office and change management across the organization 

Project Delivery & Support

  • Manage cross-functional projects, overseeing all phases from project inception to completion 
  • Lead change management initiatives associated with operationalizing each project as needed to implement new processes and activities  
  • Hold project team members accountable to milestones and established processes within the project management system 
  • Proactively identify, manage and resolve project risks, conflicts and dependencies to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes  
  • Execute other Project Management duties as needed

Minimum Education:                                                                                                                 

  • Knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree / diploma program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job is required                                                    

Minimum Years of Work Experience:                                                                                         

  • 2+ years of project management experience (directly, or indirectly)   

Minimum Leadership Experience: 

  • No minimum experience required; proven ability to manage and lead cross-functional project teams  

Certifications:                                                                                                                

  • CAPM or PMP is an asset 

Other Requirements/Assets:                                                                                                                  

  • O365 knowledge is a strong asset (Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel) 
  • Knowledge of Monday.com, or other project management systems, is a strong asset  
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and applications (Traditional and Agile)

Le directeur de projet, Bureau de gestion de projet, est responsable de la planification, de la mise en œuvre et de la fermeture réussies des projets interfonctionnels, dans le respect de nos normes en gestion de projet et de nos priorités stratégiques. Ce poste combine la direction pratique des projets et le soutien consultatif des équipes des projets dans toute l’entreprise. Le titulaire du poste joue un rôle essentiel dans l’amélioration de l’uniformité de la mise en œuvre des projets, l’amélioration de la visibilité dans l’ensemble des initiatives et l’harmonisation stratégique.

 

Principales responsabilités

Gestion et gouvernance des programmes

·       Organiser des réunions de planification de projets, faciliter les lancements et tenir à jour les plans stratégiques des projets au sein des logiciels de gestion de projet et d’autres systèmes d’information.

·       Collaborer directement avec les intervenants pour lancer de nouveaux projets et veiller au respect des lignes directrices établies en matière de gestion de projet.

·       Agir à titre de conseiller et d’expert technique, et soutenir les chargés de projet de toute l’entreprise dans l’atteinte des objectifs de leurs projets à chaque étape.

·       Documenter les problèmes et les résolutions de conflits; signaler les problèmes et collaborer avec l’équipe de direction, au besoin.

·       Responsabiliser les chargés de projet dans l’ensemble de l’entreprise en ce qui concerne les processus établis.

·       Promouvoir la culture de l’apprentissage continu en animant des rétrospectives, en documentant les leçons apprises et en les appliquant aux projets à venir et à la gouvernance générale des projets.

·       Soutenir l’échange de renseignements et de connaissances au sein de l’entreprise.

·       Soutenir la stratégie et l’évolution du bureau de gestion de projet et la gestion du changement dans l’ensemble de l’entreprise.

Exécution des projets et soutien

·       Gérer les projets interfonctionnels en en supervisant toutes les étapes, du début à la fin.

·       Diriger les initiatives de gestion du changement associées à la mise en œuvre de chaque projet, au besoin, afin d’établir de nouveaux processus et des activités.

·       Responsabiliser les membres de l’équipe des projets en ce qui concerne les étapes clés et les processus établis dans le système de gestion de projet.

·       Repérer, gérer et résoudre de façon proactive les risques, les conflits et les dépendances liés aux projets afin d’assurer une livraison à temps et des résultats de qualité.

·       Exécuter d’autres tâches liées à la gestion de projet, au besoin.

Études

·       Connaissances, habiletés et aptitudes habituellement acquises dans le cadre d’un programme d’études menant à un baccalauréat ou à un diplôme équivalent, ou formation équivalente dans un champ d’études correspondant aux exigences du poste.

 

Expérience professionnelle 

·       Au moins deux ans d’expérience en gestion de projet (directement ou indirectement).

 

Expérience en direction 

·       Aucune expérience minimale requise; capacité démontrée à gérer et à diriger des équipes interfonctionnelles de projets.

 

Accréditations

·       Titre d’associé certifié en gestion de projet (CAPM) ou de professionnel en gestion de projet (PMP). 

 

Autres exigences et atouts

·       Connaissance de la suite Office 365, un atout important (Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel).

·       Connaissance de monday.com ou d’autres systèmes de gestion de projet, un atout important.

·       Connaissance des méthodologies et des applications de gestion de projet (méthodes traditionnelles et méthode agile).
