Position Purpose:
Responsible for providing leadership of the Pro business within designated sales territory by driving sales growth and profitability though account relationships. Monitor key performance indicators for assigned professional customers and meet or exceed financial performance to plan by working with the Senior Manager and other regional/district and store leadership.

The Commercial Account Manager (CAM) is responsible for driving growth with our highest spending Commercial Customers (Pro’s) in Quebec and New Brunswick by informing and influencing customers perception of the Home Depot. Educating the Commercial Customer on the value proposition of the Home Depot, highlighting company's products, services and strategically expand their planned and unplanned purchases. CAM’s will be responsible for communicating via telephone, virtual call, email, and in-person meetings.
CAM’s will identify ways to leverage our cross functional partners and resources to facilitate annual account growth and
continue building the Home Depot Brand by becoming the “Supplier of Choice”.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Building long term relationships for multi-year growth with assigned accounts
  • Visit customers and jobs sites regularly to establish relationships with customer and develop/provide tailored business solutions
  • Stay current with ongoing projects and take proactive action on utilization of materials
  • Attend regular sales meetings and stay current of industry and market trends
  • Prospect and develop new customers using internal tools and external events and social media
  • Maximize the efficiency of CRM data and software to improve customer relationships.
  • Effectively communicate customer needs and required capabilities that will support spend growth and build lifetime loyalty
  • Build internal relationships with stakeholders to communicate Commercial Customer requirements.
  • Deep Understanding of Pro Customer needs with a focus on fulfilling 100% of their products, credit and performance requirements. Determine how each customer would prefer to be served and tailor communications and customer facing activates appropriately.

Candidate Qualifications:
  • Internal Candidates: Must fulfill minimum time-in-position (1 year)
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills including presentation skills to large groups
  • Proven ability to build effective partnerships throughout the organization.
  • Acts with urgency and sets aggressive goals and achieves them
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills, ability to persuade or influence others
  • Effectively prioritizes multiple demands and follows through on commitments
  • Solid knowledge of SAP Applications.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Ability to travel 50%-75% of the time, including 25%-50% overnights (Driving outside sales activities)
  • Supporting Quebec and New Brunswick (Must be able to travel)
  • Must be Bilingual (English/French)
