Askuity is a Toronto-based retail analytics software company and wholly-owned division within The Home Depot (THD). Askuity’s mission is to enable suppliers and merchants at The Home Depot to make profitable, data-driven decisions and drive real-time execution.


Reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Management, the Business Analyst will be responsible for enabling the product, design and data science teams drive the roadmap for our flagship business intelligence solution. They will have a wide range of responsibilities including managing deliverables across multiple teams, tracking, and analyzing usage metrics as well as creating product related content such as release notes and walkthrough guides. Success in this role will require someone who can work well with different stakeholders and has a good eye for detail.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Helping drive the product roadmap by coordinating various activities across product, design, data science and development teams including discovery planning and tracking the execution of the activities against the plan.
  • Representing the product team in various cross-functional meetings such as release planning.
  • Helping product and design team members plan and execute user interviews.
  • Tracking usage metrics on a regular basis and sharing with team members; enabling the team to conduct ad hoc analysis as needed.
  • Creating walkthroughs/guides for newly launched features and coordinating with content team to plan and execute on product marketing campaigns.
  • Writing release notes for newly launched features.
  • Maintaining and updating the roadmap as needed using inputs from Product Managers.
  • Writing user stories for new features in JIRA and attending scrum ceremonies.



Experience/Knowledge Required:

  • 1+ years’ experience as a business analyst or in a similar role, ideally with a SaaS based analytics platform.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an aptitude for presenting thoughts and ideas to senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with customers, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties.
  • Experience working in SCRUM as well as using tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Pendo.
  • Well-versed in using tools such as MS-Word, PPT, Excel.
  • BS degree in Engineering, Business, or related.
