Pay Range: $85,000 - $115,000

As the Sr. Analyst, Marketing Analytics you will work directly with the leads of Marketing and Personalization to understand their business issues and deliver analytics driven solutions/recommendations. Conduct regular campaign analysis and create customer segments to better target Home Depot customers with. You will provide the leads of Marketing with recommendations on how to improve campaigns and identify opportunities for creating segments and personalization where possible. This candidate should possess a love for data and for technologies.                                                                                                                                           

Key Responsibilities:     

                                                                                                                                               

  • Maintain and enhance consumer driven promotions, campaigns and events reporting.
  • Create customer segments for targeting purposes and reporting out on.
  • Support marketing initiatives through opportunity identification, campaign design, and data extraction using internal databases.
  • Provide insight into our customer base through deep dive analyses, value segmentation and basket analysis.
  • Enhance and maintain predictive models to identify opportunities for customer cross-sell.
  • Link analysis and results to business issue and/or analytic objective that will provide actionable strategic recommendations (where appropriate).
  • Execute pre/post campaign analysis.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests for analysis, data and information on a regular basis.
  • Support the Marketing analytics strategy to drive its alignment and execution with cross functional teams to deliver actionable customer insights for consumer acquisition and spend growth.
  • Responsible for sourcing, summarizing, and analyzing data from multiple data sources.

Skills:                                                                                                                                                   

  • Strong experience in creating and maintaining Advance Analytical models such as Customer Segmentation, RFM, LTV, Basket Analysis, etc. using Advance Analytics and/or statistical software such as R, Python, etc.
  • Excellent business and marketing analysis skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver analytical insights to the business that drives change.
  • Proven record of interacting with Marketing, IT and Finance with an innate ability to problem solve and impact decision making with a cross functional team.
  • Experience/expertise in using Visual Analytics tools, such as Tableau.
  • Experience/expertise in SQL.
  • High level of attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with only general guidance.
  • Team player with high energy and demonstrated initiative.

Minimum Education:                                                                                                                                                    

  • University degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Marketing, Business Intelligence or related field.

                                                                                                               

Minimum Years of Work Experience:                                                                                                                     

  • 4+ Years of experience in Database marketing and/or business intelligence role (preferably in a retail environment)
  • 3+ years of experience using tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau

Other Requirements/Assets:                                                                                                                                                     

  • Familiarity with any cloud platform
