Pay Range: $80,000 - $110,000

As Manager, Enterprise Data Quality, you will be responsible for leading, coaching and developing a team that is responsible for two distinct pillars. The Data Quality Team which is responsible for enterprise data quality and product maintenance for homedepot.ca and the Promo and Events Execution Team which is responsible for the coordinating the successful execution of promotions and events on homedepot.ca and increasingly in-store. In addition to this direct leadership, you will have a strong partnership with offshore teams to create/adjust SOPs for support of your onshore teams as well as driving adherence to SLAs and performance goals.

The successful candidate will leverage new and existing technologies to cleanse and optimize product data and create processes that ensure multi-channel data alignment between homedepot.ca and the Home Depot Retail Stores. They will liaise with all internal and external partners to meet the deadlines, budget, and build alignment and lead both tactical process improvements and broader strategic initiatives that will drive exceptional data quality and in turn a frictionless customer experience.

This role requires the ability to balance both a strong attention to operational rigour and strategic thought-leadership and innovation to both define and manage to key performance metrics to enable our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the process and execution to optimize the efficiency of enhanced product data implementation with an interconnected lens
  • Coordinate and create appropriate visibility around the successful execution of promotions and events on homedepot.ca
  • Partner with Data Governance and Master Data Management teams to provide visibility to key performance metrics around data quality as well as build a roadmap designed to meet annual KPI goals
  • Liaise with key internal customers to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Establish service agreements and key performance indicators for problem resolution related to Zendesk tickets
  • Help prioritize data processing based on the need of the business
  • Direct, coach and motivate the team to ensure data accuracy ensuring data alignment with Data Governance guidelines.
  • Responsible for external resource management. Manages outside vendors to ensure execution of programs and tactics on time and within budget. Manages projects and the allotment of money to meet budgetary and segment goals. 
  • Hiring, managing and providing leadership to the Online Data Quality (ODQ) team and the Promo and Event Execution Team (P&E)
  • Trouble shoot and problem solve for ongoing operational needs as they arise. 

Competencies/Skills:                                                                                                                                                    

  • Experience in Data Management, Vendor Management, Ecommerce
  • Knowledge of multi-domain MDM and PIM solutions an asset (e.g. Informatica, SAP Hana)
  • Excellent Customer Service and Stakeholder Management: demonstrated experience in conflict resolution, active listening, and accountability
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and the ability to identify and resolve blockers without direct supervision
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (oral and written) tailored to relevant levels of the organization (from business partners to Senior Leadership Team)
  • Well-developed project management skills including exceptional attention to detail
  • Multi-tasking and organization skills with the ability to remain productive in a dynamic retail environment
  • Ability to approach problems systematically, researching all alternatives and making appropriate recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and prioritize based on business need/urgency and drive as initiatives
  • Ability to be deadline oriented with long and short-term projects
  • Managing of external vendor contracts and relationships
  • Knowledge of Marketing and Merchandising in a retail environment considered an asset

Minimum Education:
