Pay Range: $70,000 - $100,000

Askuity is a Toronto-based retail analytics software company operating as a division within The Home Depot (THD).  Through our supplier analytics program, Askuity’s mission is to enable suppliers and merchants at The Home Depot to make profitable, data-driven decisions and drive real-time execution.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you are primarily responsible for overseeing and maintaining the information systems and data architecture that powers all corporate reporting and business operations. This role is responsible for translating business needs into scalable data solutions, ensuring reporting accuracy and data integrity, and deepening our ability to deliver value to our customers. You can wear multiple hats, managing multiple priorities across the project management lifecycle while maintaining an accurate view of priorities. You are a problem solver who identifies opportunities, works independently or with a team to implement change, and creates value through processes efficiencies and improvements.  

Key Responsibilities: 

Data Systems & Reporting 

  • Defines, executes and enhances corporate reporting and information systems infrastructure 
  • Works independently and partners with internal teams to identify and validate data sources, resolve issues, and strengthen data accuracy and reliability of information systems and program operations 

 

Process Optimization & Change Enablement 

  • Evaluates existing workflows and identifies opportunities for efficiency and automation 
  • Partners with internal stakeholders to implement changes that reduce manual effort and technical debt 
  • Coordinate and liaison with THD partners, vendors and functional teams to gather necessary documentation and security approvals for new and existing vendor relationships  
  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system usability, promote reporting scalability, and ensure data compliance 

 

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing 

  • Maintains information systems roadmap, accurate documentation, UAT logs, and process maps 
  • Contributes to the Supplier Analytics knowledge base, supporting retrospectives, onboarding, and team learning initiatives 

 

Project & Initiative Support 

  • Participates and leads the planning, execution, and evaluation of key Supplier Analytics projects 
  • Tracks deliverables, monitors risks, and ensures alignment to program goals 

 

Peer Mentorship & Team Support 

  • Provides subject matter guidance and informal mentorship to analysts 
  • Supports a culture of continuous learning and collaboration within the team

  • Metric Development & User Acceptance Testing (UAT) 

o   Leads research and UAT activities for new or revised metrics to ensure effective validation process in the lead up to releases 

o   Documents backend data logic and architecture 

o   Coordinates cross-functionally to support enablement collateral 

  • Strong knowledge of Tableau and proven record of building out dashboards
  • Strong knowledge of retail operations and analytics 
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with SQL  
  • SF Admin certificate is a strong asset

Il répond aux besoins de l’entreprise en trouvant des solutions évolutives en matière de données, assure la précision des rapports et l’intégrité des données, et accroît notre capacité à offrir une valeur inégalée à notre clientèle. Le titulaire du poste fait preuve de polyvalence, gère plusieurs priorités tout au long des diverses étapes de la gestion de projet et a une vue d’ensemble des priorités. Doué pour la résolution de problèmes, il cerne les occasions d’amélioration, peut travailler seul et en équipe à la mise en œuvre des changements, et crée de la valeur par l’entremise de processus efficaces et d’améliorations.

Principales responsabilités

Systèmes de données et production de rapports

·      Définir, mettre en œuvre et améliorer la production de rapports et l’infrastructure des systèmes d’information de l’entreprise.

·      Travailler de manière autonome et collaborer avec des équipes internes pour trouver et valider des sources de données, résoudre des problèmes et renforcer l’exactitude et la fiabilité des données liées aux systèmes d’information et à l’exploitation des programmes.

 

Optimisation des processus et mise en œuvre des changements

·      Évaluer les flux de travail existants et repérer les occasions d’amélioration en matière d’efficacité et d’automatisation.

·      Collaborer avec les intervenants internes pour mettre en œuvre des changements qui réduisent les efforts manuels et la dette technique.

·      Assurer la coordination des partenaires, des fournisseurs et des équipes fonctionnelles de Home Depot afin de rassembler la documentation requise et d’obtenir les autorisations de sécurité pour les relations avec les fournisseurs actuels et nouveaux.

·      Soutenir les initiatives d’amélioration continue visant à améliorer la convivialité des systèmes; promouvoir l’extensibilité des rapports et assurer la conformité des données.

 

Documentation et échange de connaissances

·      Mettre à jour les plans stratégiques relatifs aux systèmes d’information, assurer l’exactitude de la documentation, et gérer les journaux d’essais d’acceptation par l’utilisateur et les descriptions des procédures.

·      Contribuer à la base de connaissances du programme d’analyse des fournisseurs; soutenir les rétrospectives, l’intégration et les initiatives de formation des équipes.

 

Soutien aux projets et aux initiatives

·      Diriger la planification, la mise en œuvre et l’évaluation des principaux projets d’analyse des fournisseurs et y prendre part.

·      Effectuer le suivi des réalisations attendues, surveiller les risques et assurer le respect des objectifs du programme.

 

Mentorat par les pairs et soutien à l’équipe

·      Fournir des conseils aux analystes et les mentorer de manière informelle.
