Position Overview:

The Senior UGC Specialist is an experienced professional with a deep understanding of the user-generated content space in the world of ecommerce. In this senior capacity, the role is required to collaborate with and communicate to internal stakeholders (merchandising, BA, etc.) and external partners (vendor community, UGC business partners, etc.). The primary objective is to execute program plans to hit UGC business targets and provide thought leadership in the execution of campaigns and initiatives. This role ensures customers receive a consistent experience, building trust through ratings and reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery & Execution (60%)

  • Hands-on execution of User Generated Content campaigns and initiatives
  • Works with cross-functional teams in order to meet deliverables
  • Extracts and shares business KPIs for the program
  • Pivots in response to challenges and observations and communicates this accordingly and urgently to stakeholders
  • Applies a tactical mindset to prioritize work accordingly

People, Team & Stakeholders (20%)

  • Empathizes and seeks to understand key stakeholders and customers
  • Resolves issues and facilitates effective communication across teams and stakeholders
  • Collaborates with team members and stakeholders to drive value and identify and resolve impediments

  • Participates and executes on the strategy for User Generated Content
  • Looks for opportunities in existing products, processes, and people and pivots accordingly
  • Aligns with cross-functional partners and their priorities to plan action to the strategy and remove any impediments
  • Applies domain expertise to provide thought leadership in the execution of UGC campaigns

Working Conditions:

Minimum Education:

University/College degree in a related area of study, or equivalent experience

Minimum Years of Work Experience:

3 – 5 years of relevant ecommerce, marketing, or related experience

Minimum Leadership Experience:

Experience mentoring or supervising team members is an asset

Certifications:

None

Other Requirements/Assets:

Experience with data (Looker, Tableau, Adobe Analytics), PIM systems, CMS processes, and bilingualism (English/French) considered an asset.
