Position Overview:
The Replenishment Analyst has responsibility for the tactical execution of category replenishment strategy, providing a high level of service to its Merchandising, Store Operations and supply chain customers. The Analysts will be responsible for achieving, in-stock, and inventory turns metrics which support our sales and margin goals for the category. The Analyst will collaborate with many cross functional departments; building strong partnerships with these groups to achieve their goals. The position will assist in ensuring Inventory levels are on target for Stores and DC’s with end result of being in-stock for Customers that shop our stores.
                                        
Key Responsibilities:                                        

•    Achieve in stock and turns targets for each of the categories that are managed by the analyst for domestic, cross border and import products
•    Support the merchants in each of the categories that are managed by the analyst with supply chain expertise and act as the initial point of contact for merchant and cross functional (360) team questions 
•    Provide key reporting on KPIs to Merchandising, Senior Management.
•    Review auto-replenishment tools on a daily basis to ensure stores and DCs have reasonable inventory volume flowing based on sales forecast, minimum requirements, product dimensions, category and event strategies, store space, etc and take action to adjust if required.
•    Manually determine replenishment quantities in cases of low quality forecasts, sudden shifts in demand, delays in enabling auto replenishment, etc.
•    Support order optimization/changes where required for full truckload or other constraints
•    Review exceptions on out of stocks and overstocks and provide options and recommendations to address to your category partners and leader.
•    Manage timelines for special events including flyer, offshelf locations, new lower price, etc to ensure timely and accurate replenishment for these areas of focus.
•    Review supply chain and merchandising system data to ensure replenishment is not interrupted.
•    Ensure clearance and exit inventory is cleared from DC and vendor to support merchant strategy and category margin.
•    Provide ad-hoc after hours support to stores by placing orders for emergencies and natural disasters and helping expedite through the supply chain
•    Recommend case pack optimization with supply chain/merchant by vendor/sku requirements
•    Respond to store requests for inventory or replenishment tuning (via systemic request, email, phone or via helpdesk) with thoughtful analysis and quick action
•    Communicate product status and updates to stores and DCs in a timely manner.
•    Work with Supply chain and other support teams to expedite orders when required
•    Responsible for presenting consolidated inventory actions/recommendation in weekly business reviews
•    Work closely with vendors/suppliers to maintain fill rate and collaborate with them on planned purchases
•    Collaborate with suppliers and team members to ensure preplanning activities related to inventory needs are completed by developing/implementing coverage direction for each supplier
•    Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions.
•    Escalate issues to forecast analyst and business analyst partners as well as your leaders
•    Coach and support new team members during associate onboarding
•    Champions decision and strengths of supply chain and business policies by leveraging experience, strengths to deliver best possible result

Skills:                                        
• 1-3 years of analytical experience (ideally in a retail environment) with emphasis on inventory management 
• University or College Degree in business or engineering will be considered as a preferred qualification 
• SAP knowledge would be an asset 
• Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Excel and/or MS Access 
• Good analytical skills with the ability to extrapolate pertinent information from various sources (reports and spreadsheets) and analyze data for recommendations and make data driven decisions
• Excellent communication skills; collaborative with effective interpersonal skills; able to work across department
• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and pay close attention to detail
• Strong customer focus with business acumen, problem solving skills and results orientated 
• Self -directed, ability to work with limited supervision.
