Position Purpose
The Resource Specialist role is part of the Procurement Canada team, which provides both operational and sourcing support to our Home Depot stores and Store Support Centre. This role will provide administrative and operational support to both the Procurement Operations Lead and the Sourcing Manager.
Job Responsibilities
- Work with AP to resolve payment issues related to our Procure-to-Pay process via Ariba/SAP.
- Ariba “how-to” assistance to internal customers and external vendors.
- Identify and report new system issues to the Procurement Operations Lead.
- Assist with new vendor onboarding process - handling contracts and collecting onboarding documentation.
- Monitor tickets through the Zendesk ticketing tool.
- Assist Sourcing Manager with administrative tasks related to running an RFP. Handling contracts and collecting RFP bids from participants.
Knowledge/Experience Required:
- College or University Degree in Business, Finance or IT would be an asset.
- Ariba and SAP experience would be an asset.
- Experience dealing with legal contracts is preferred.
- Proficient in: Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams. Project Management principles.
- Coupa experience would be an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and great attention to detail is a must.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- French fluency would be an asset.
