Position Overview:   

Askuity is a Toronto-based retail analytics software company operating as a division within The Home Depot (THD).  Through our supplier analytics program, Askuity’s mission is to enable suppliers and merchants at The Home Depot to make profitable, data-driven decisions and drive real-time execution. The Askuity Human Resources Manager will play a critical, strategic role as a member of the Askuity leadership team.

The Human Resources Manager provides internal consulting and support for all human resources initiatives and objectives for the organization. The HR Manager role supports a variety of human resources initiatives including talent management, organizational effectiveness, associate relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, learning, and talent acquisition. The position is the first point of contact to support and serve internal designated client groups’ leaders and associates on human resource issues and activities. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Human Resources.


                                                                                                                                               

Responsibilities:

Provide counsel, coaching, and partnership to leadership team

  • Coach business leaders on facilitating career development discussions and action plans
  • Counsel and provide guidance to management and associates on associate relations issues.
  • Work closely with Business Leaders and associates for on a variety of business initiatives and related Human Resources actions.
  • Partner with functional leaders and HR staff regarding counseling on associate benefits and healthcare management.

Drive and execute Corporate HR initiatives including talent reviews twice per year, employer of choice action plans, and organizational design participation.

  • Partner with management on Succession Planning to identify ready-now and emerging talent, ensuring development plans are created and followed up.
  • Partner closely with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to identify upcoming vacancies, facilitate timely hiring, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and policies.
  • Partner with the business to optimize organizational structures and accountabilities; play a significant role in implementing structure changes as required.

Lead and participate in Human Resources projects.

  • Partner with the Learning Organization to recommend development needs for incorporation into the SSC training curriculum.
  • Support and partner with internal communication for all SSC initiatives and announcements.
  • Proactively anticipate and respond to internal client group HR requests.

Le directeur, Ressources humaines (DRH), offre du soutien et des conseils relativement aux initiatives liées aux ressources humaines (RH) et aux objectifs de divers groupes de clients qui travaillent au Centre de soutien aux magasins (CSM). Cet important partenaire d’affaires participe à la prise de décisions se rapportant aux associés. Il soutient diverses initiatives liées aux RH, notamment la gestion des talents, l’efficacité organisationnelle, les relations avec les associés, la rémunération, les avantages sociaux, la gestion du rendement, la formation et le recrutement des talents. Il agit à titre de personne-ressource pour les responsables et les associés de ses groupes de clients internes et leur apporte son soutien relativement aux activités et aux enjeux liés aux RH. Il relève du premier directeur, RH du CSM – Relations avec les associés et recrutement des talents.

Responsabilités

Agir comme partenaire de l’équipe de direction et lui fournir des conseils et de l’encadrement.

  • Accompagner les responsables des différents secteurs opérationnels en ce qui a trait à l’animation de discussions sur le perfectionnement professionnel et les plans d’action.
  • Conseiller l’équipe de direction et les associés, et leur fournir un encadrement en ce qui a trait aux problèmes de relations avec les associés.
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les responsables des différents secteurs opérationnels et les associés afin de soutenir diverses initiatives d’affaires et de prendre les mesures correspondantes en matière de RH.
  • Travailler de concert avec les responsables fonctionnels et les associés de l’équipe des RH relativement aux avantages sociaux offerts et à la gestion des soins médicaux.

Soutenir les initiatives du service des RH du CSM, notamment l’évaluation semestrielle des talents, les plans d’action liés au sondage Employeur de choix et une participation à la structure organisationnelle.

  • Collaborer à la planification de la relève avec l’équipe de direction afin de trouver les personnes de remplacement et les nouveaux talents; veiller à l’élaboration et au suivi de plans de perfectionnement.
  • Travailler de concert avec l’équipe responsable du recrutement des talents et les directeurs ayant des postes à pourvoir afin de déterminer les postes à combler, de faciliter le processus d’embauche au moment opportun et d’assurer la conformité aux lois et aux règlements en vigueur.
  • Travailler de pair avec les équipes opérationnelles en vue d’optimiser les structures et les responsabilités organisationnelles; jouer un rôle majeur dans la mise en œuvre des changements apportés aux structures organisationnelles, au besoin.

Gérer des projets des RH et y prendre part.

  • Collaborer avec le service de la Formation pour formuler des recommandations sur les besoins en perfectionnement à prendre en compte dans les programmes de formation du CSM.
  • Travailler en collaboration avec l’équipe responsable des communications internes dans le cadre des initiatives et des annonces du CSM.
  • Prévoir de manière proactive les demandes des groupes de clients internes liées aux RH et y répondre.
