Job Description

Pay Range: $56,000 - $86,000

Project manage the development and communication of merchandising store fixtures and standards. Partner with cross functional teams and fixture vendors to develop store fixture concepts that drive sales, improve store productivity, and enhance customer experience.                                                                                                                                      

Key Responsibilities:                                                                                                                                                     

Fixture Design, Development & Standards

  • Partner with internal & external stakeholders to drive the overall store fixture design regarding development, assembly, productivity, and shopping experience across all store types.
  • Provides design direction, managing relationships with fixture vendors and third‑party agencies from project kick‑off to completion.
  • Update and maintain fixture database and review all existing fixture drawings with cross‑functional partners to ensure they meet Home Depot standards.
  • Develop and/or coordinate any installation instructions required.

Project & Procurement Management

  • Manages assigned merchandising projects, making recommendations on effective fixturing solutions that support the overall merchandising strategy.
  • Manage cross‑functional store fixture approval process.
  • Project manage budget for assigned projects to ensure all milestones fall within or under expectations.
  • Ensure fixture protocol is followed regarding all vendor submissions.
  • Coordinate and schedule the fixture approval process through monthly or bi‑weekly meetings.
  • Attend the fixture review and communicate approvals or revisions to all parties.

Field Support & Implementation

  • Attend pilot store installations and resolve any issues or deficiencies quickly and efficiently.

Other Tasks as Required

  • Assists Fixture Manager as needed with larger CI/Capital and Special projects.

Hybrid Work:                                                                                                                                                    

  • On-site 5 days a week – Store Support Centre. Travel to other locations including 7367 Innovation Centre and Store Locations as needed.          

                                                                                               

Working Conditions:                                                                                                                                                     

  • Working in an office setting: computer work, camera on virtual meetings, taking support calls.
  • Working in a store /warehouse environment that can be dusty and noisy. Doors are frequently open, causing drafts and interior temperature changes.                                                                                                                                                              

Minimum Education:                                                                                                                                                    

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree/college diploma program or equivalent program in a field of study related to the job                                                                                                        

Minimum Years of Work Experience:                                                                                                                     

  • 2 to 3 years’ experience with multi-unit retailer or strong Third Party supporting multi-unit retailer as a coordinator with emphasis in fixture design and documentation
