Pay Range: $65,000 - $95,000

The Ecommerce Data Quality Analyst will support data quality improvement activities for HomeDepot.ca. This role is responsible for maintaining online data standards, producing regular and timely data quality status reports, tracking data quality performance, and providing recommendations for internal process improvements. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify data issues, implement quality control measure, and support data-driven decision-making through advanced analytics and visualization tools.                                                                 

Key Responsibilities:                                                                                                                                                     

Data Quality Review & Validation

  • Review, analyze, and validate product data against defined online data standards.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of product information with data governance principles.
  • Apply knowledge of data governance standards to maintain consistent data quality.

Process Development & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement online data quality processes.
  • Create, update, and maintain documentation to standardize data quality practices.
  • Manage workload efficiently, maintaining focus and objectivity under pressure.

Project Managing, Reporting & Operational Support

  • Plan, organize, and lead data quality projects to resolve operational challenges.
  • Prepare and present clear, concise reports highlighting data quality improvements and demonstrate the value added to the organization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges promptly, delivering effective solutions with professionalism and composure to ensure seamless data operations.

Skills:                                                                                                                                                   

  • Familiarity with SAP and/or website technologies (Product Information Management /SEM)
  • Proficient in Alteryx and Microsoft Office with strong data querying skills (e.g., Google BigQuery, SQL)

Minimum Education:                                                                                                                                                    

  • A bachelor's degree, diploma in a related field is required.

  • 3-5 years of retail industry experience required.

                                                                                                               

Minimum Leadership Experience:

  • None                                    

Certifications:                                                                                                                                                  

  • Alteryx Core Certification is an asset.

                                                                                                                                                               

Other Requirements/Assets:                                                                                                                                                     

  • At least 1 year of project and change management is an asset.
  • Proficiency in data visualization building (e.g., Tableau, Looker) is an asset.
